# Why is my visibility zero?

> The causes of a zero visibility score in GetIntel, ordered by how quickly you can rule each one out, with how to check and when zero is expected.

A visibility of zero means no answer in the window named your brand. Work through these causes in order: the first ones take seconds to rule out.

## 1. The scan hasn't finished

**How to check:** a new brand or topic shows **Collecting data**, or Home's period covers only today.

**Fix:** wait for the first scans, and set Home to 7 days.

## 2. Every answer was "No answer"

**How to check:** open **Prompts** and filter by **No answer**. If most answers are there, the engines returned nothing to read.

**Fix:** no answers are left out of scores. If one engine keeps returning nothing, see [An engine shows No answer](/docs/academy/troubleshooting/no-answer/).

## 3. Your brand name is set up wrong

GetIntel still counts your brand when AI writes the name a little differently, such as a shortened name, different spacing or a different spelling. A name that is wrong in your settings is a different problem.

**How to check:** open a few answers in **Prompts** and compare the name AI uses with the product name in **Settings → Product & audience**.

**Fix:** if the settings name is out of date or isn't the name buyers use, change it there.

## 4. The wrong country

**How to check:** read a few answers. Do they talk about another market?

**Fix:** check your market in **Settings → Markets**. See [Common setup mistakes](/docs/academy/start-here/common-setup-mistakes/).

## 5. The questions don't match your product

**How to check:** read your prompts. Would a real buyer of your product ask them?

**Fix:** improve your product description and **Add prompt** for the questions buyers really ask.

## When zero is expected

A newer or smaller brand in a crowded category often starts at zero: AI names the brands its sources mention most. That is exactly what GetIntel is for. Look at [Sources](/features/sources/) to see which sites AI relies on, and work your **Off-Page** tasks to get onto them.
