# Cancelling and your data

> How to cancel a trial or subscription, what stops running, what happens to your data, and how to delete your account.

## Cancel a trial

Choose **Cancel trial** on the Plans page. We ask why you are leaving, and in some cases offer help or a discount. **No thanks, cancel my trial** always ends it. You keep full access until the trial's end date and are not charged.

## Cancel a subscription

Go to **Settings → Billing → Manage subscription** and cancel in the billing portal.

## What stops

When a subscription ends or a trial runs out, the daily scans, weekly checks, Reddit scans and competitor refreshes stop. Your history stays.

After a trial ends there are 7 days of read-only access. After that the app shows a prompt to pick a plan until you do.

Your data is not deleted when you cancel. Pick a plan again and you continue where you left off.

## Weekly digest emails

GetIntel sends a weekly visibility digest by email. Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any digest to stop it.

## Delete your account

Go to **Settings → Delete account** and type `DELETE` to confirm. This permanently deletes your account and cannot be undone.
