## The product

**What does GetIntel do?**
It asks the AI engines your buyers use the questions they ask, every day, shows where you are recommended or left out, scores each buyer topic, and turns the gaps into ranked tasks. See the [overview](/docs/).

**Which AI engines does it track?**
[ChatGPT](/chatgpt-visibility-tracker/), Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews daily on every plan, and Claude weekly on Growth. See [How GetIntel collects data](/docs/academy/start-here/how-getintel-collects-data/).

**Does it read the real ChatGPT, or an API?**
The real products for ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, and real Google results pages for AI Overviews. Claude is read through Anthropic's API with web search.

**Can I choose which country answers come from?**
Yes. Each [market](/docs/features/markets/) is a country and a language, picked during setup. Pro and Growth can change it and track several markets.

**Can I track several countries or languages?**
Yes, on Pro and Growth. Each market has its own questions in its language, answers, scores, competitors and tasks. See [Markets](/docs/features/markets/).

**Can I add my own questions?**
Yes. **+ Add topic** adds a topic with questions written for it, and **Add prompt** adds a single question. See [Topics](/docs/features/topics/#adding-a-topic).

## Numbers

**Why does ChatGPT say something different when I ask it myself?**
Your account history, location and plain run-to-run variation all change answers. See [How GetIntel collects data](/docs/academy/start-here/how-getintel-collects-data/#why-an-answer-can-differ-from-what-you-see).

**Why do Home and Topics show different visibility?**
Different windows and different sets of questions. See [Why numbers differ](/docs/academy/metrics/why-numbers-differ/).

**How often does data update?**
AI answers daily; brand perception, the technical scan and Claude weekly; AI crawlers hourly. See [Data freshness](/docs/academy/metrics/data-freshness/).

**My visibility is zero. Is something broken?**

## Results

**How long until I see results?**
Mentions on sources AI already cites and helpful Reddit replies can show within days to a couple of weeks. New and updated pages usually take a few weeks to a month. See [Get recommended in AI search](/docs/academy/playbooks/get-recommended-in-ai-search/).

## Agents and integrations

**Can my coding agent use GetIntel?**
Yes. [Claude Code](/blog/ai-visibility-tools-mcp-claude-code/), Cursor, Codex CLI, Claude Desktop, VS Code, Windsurf, Gemini CLI and any MCP client can connect. See [the MCP server](/docs/mcp/).

**Does GetIntel change my website?**
No. It never touches your site. Your own coding agent can make changes you ask for, in your repository, for you to review.

**What can I connect?**

**Is there a free trial?**
Yes, 7 days of the full Pro experience on 25 buyer questions. A card is required and nothing is charged until day 8. See [Free trial](/docs/account/trial/).

**Can I cancel any time?**
