**[Sources](/features/sources/)** shows what AI actually cites when it answers questions in your category, and whether you are part of it.

## What you see

- **Top cited domains** over time, you against the most cited sites, or switch to **Source types**.
- **Citation share**: the top domains and your own.
- A table of sources: **Cited in** (the share of answers that cite it), **Type**, **Cited on engines**, and **Prompts**. Switch between **Domain** and **Page**.

## Source types

| Type | What counts |
| --- | --- |
| **Corporate** | Other companies' own sites. Any site not in the other groups. |
| **Editorial** | Publications, and ranked lists or comparisons, even on a company blog. |
| **UGC** | Reddit, Quora, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Medium, Stack Overflow and similar. |
| **Reference** | Review sites, directories and marketplaces such as G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, Product Hunt, Wikipedia and app stores. |
| **Competitor** | Your competitors' sites. |
| **You** | Your own site. |

## Filter by engine

Use the engine filter to see what one engine leans on. Engines often cite very different sites for the same question.
