# Quickstart

> Sign up, describe your business, start the 7-day trial, and read your first topic scores once the first scan finishes.

1. **Create your account** at [app.getintel.ai/signup](https://app.getintel.ai/signup?ref=docs_quickstart&utm_source=docs&utm_medium=quickstart).

2. **Tell GetIntel about your business.** The setup wizard uses your domain and description to find the [competitors AI already names](/features/competitors/) in your category and to write the buyer questions a real prospect would ask.

3. **Start the 7-day free trial.** The trial is the full Pro experience on 25 buyer questions. A card is required and nothing is charged until day 8.

4. **Wait for the first scan.** It takes about 10 minutes. While it runs, the app shows the progress of each step: finding competitors, asking each engine, scoring topics, reading the pages AI trusts, and building your task list.

5. **Read your results.** Start on [Topics](/features/topics/) to see which buyer topics you own and which a rival does, then open **Actions** for the ranked tasks.
