# GetIntel documentation

> Set up GetIntel, understand how it measures AI visibility, work through your tasks, connect your coding agent over MCP, and plug in your data.

GetIntel asks the AI engines your buyers use the questions they actually ask, every day, and shows where you are recommended, merely mentioned, or left out. It groups those questions into topics, scores each topic on its own, and turns the gaps into ranked tasks you or your coding agent can ship.

**Engines:** [ChatGPT](/chatgpt-visibility-tracker/), Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews daily on every plan, plus [Claude](/claude-visibility-tracker/) weekly on Growth.

## How GetIntel works

<Steps>

1. **Measure.** Every day GetIntel asks each engine your buyer questions and records who it names, in what order, and which sources it cites. See [Home](/docs/features/home/) and [Prompts and answers](/docs/features/prompts/).

2. **Diagnose.** Scores roll up by [topic](/docs/features/topics/), so you can see which subjects you own, which [competitors](/docs/features/competitors/) win the rest, what [sources](/docs/features/sources/) AI trusts, and which of [your pages](/docs/features/your-pages/) get cited.

3. **Act.** Gaps become ranked [tasks](/docs/features/actions/) across On-Page, Off-Page, UGC and Technical, and the weekly plan picks what to do first. Your coding agent can work them over [MCP](/docs/mcp/connect/).

4. **Prove.** Watch topic scores move, and see AI engines read your pages and send you visitors in [AI crawlers and visitors](/docs/features/ai-traffic/).
