Claude.ai and ChatGPT

Claude.ai and ChatGPT both support remote MCP with sign-in, so you add GetIntel with just the URL. No token to create or paste.

Claude.ai

1. Open Settings → Connectors.
2. Click Add custom connector.
3. Paste https://app.getintel.ai/mcp and save.
4. Claude sends you to GetIntel to sign in, then to an approval page. Pick a brand if you have more than one, tick Also allow actions if Claude should update tasks and plan your week, then click Connect.
5. Start a chat and ask: “Using GetIntel, what are my weakest topics this week?”

Claude Desktop uses the same Settings → Connectors flow.

ChatGPT

Connecting a custom MCP server needs developer mode.

1. Open Settings → Connectors.
2. Turn on developer mode if you haven’t already.
3. Click Create, name it GetIntel, and paste https://app.getintel.ai/mcp.
4. Sign in to GetIntel when prompted, pick a brand if you have more than one, tick Also allow actions if needed, then click Connect.
5. Enable the GetIntel connector in a chat and ask: “Using GetIntel, give me this week’s visibility brief.”

Note

Access tokens from this connection last 2 hours and refresh automatically while it’s connected, on the same brand. To change brand or permissions, disconnect and connect again.

Editing code

Claude.ai and ChatGPT can read and discuss your GetIntel data, but neither edits files in a repository. For that, connect a coding agent instead: Claude Code, Cursor or Codex CLI.
