Here's the Exact Weekly Task List 47 Solo Founders Got This Week
When we tell founders the product is "a scan and a short weekly plan," the natural question is: what does it actually look like?
So here it is. Redacted screenshots from the weekly plan boards that shipped to our founding cohort this week. Names removed, patterns visible.
The format
Every week, GetIntel re-runs its probes across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews (plus Claude on Growth), and the weekly plan board surfaces three ranked tasks. Not ten. Not a dashboard you have to interpret. Three gaps, ordered by how much buyer intent they touch, each with:
- The gap: which prompt AI answers with a competitor's name instead of yours
- Why it matters: why this prompt matters for this specific founder's product and stage
- What to do: a checklist for the page to write, the site to pitch, or the crawler issue to fix, ready to hand to your coding agent or work yourself
Total read time: under 3 minutes.
What actually landed on 3 real plan boards this week
Founder 1: Solo founder, B2B SaaS at $8K MRR
Item 1 (High impact, On-Page): "Asked ChatGPT 'best API monitoring tool for startups': it named CompetitorX in position 1, you weren't mentioned. Task: build a comparison page targeting this exact prompt; a companion Off-Page task flags the DR 68 site CompetitorX is cited from as worth reaching out to."
Item 2 (Medium impact, Technical): "This week's technical scan found a key page returning a blocked response to one AI crawler, which Google AI Overviews checks before citing a company. Task queued, 2-minute review."
Item 3 (Low impact): "Your Authority topic score moved from 41 to 52 this week after last week's outreach landed. Technical is now your lowest-scoring layer; a crawler-access task is queued for next week."
This founder worked items 1 and 2. Next week's scan will show whether the fixes moved the citation.
Founder 2: Indie hacker, $1.2K MRR, pre-PMF
Item 1 (High impact, On-Page): "3 buyer-intent prompts on 'lightweight alternatives to Linear' returned no mention of you across any of the 4 engines. Task: build a positioning page targeting this phrase, based on your existing homepage copy."
Item 2 (Medium impact): "Your citation rate for this topic moved from 3/100 to 7/100. Perplexity started citing you for 'lightweight alternatives to Linear', the fix from two weeks ago worked. Capitalize: update your homepage H1 to include 'lightweight.'"
Item 3 (Low impact): "You have no competitors tracked yet. Add 2-3 direct peers this week so next week's probes have something to compare against."
Founder 3: Technical founder, pre-launch, 0 MRR
Item 1 (High impact, Off-Page): "0 of 12 buyer-intent prompts mention you. 4 editorial blogs in your niche cited a direct competitor in the last 30 days. Task list below, relevance-scored 7-9/10, one per site."
Item 2 (Medium impact): "Claude started citing your name in 1 of 12 probes this week, up from 0. Early signal: the content that's getting indexed is your comparison page. Worth a second one."
Item 3 (Low impact, Technical): "This week's technical scan is your fastest-moving layer at pre-launch: three crawler-access tasks queued, each under 5 minutes to review."
Why this format
Most visibility tools hand you a dashboard with every prompt, every engine, every topic at once. Two things happen: (1) founders skim, miss the gap that actually matters, defer everything; (2) there's no ranking, so the biggest citation gap looks the same size as a cosmetic one.
Three is the limit because three is what a solo founder can actually pick up and work in a week while shipping product. Ranked by how much buyer intent a gap touches means if they only do one, they closed the one that mattered.
What the next scan shows
This is the part most founders don't believe until they see it. The following week, the scan reruns the same probes and shows what moved:
- Founder 1: comparison page published Tuesday → cited by ChatGPT for the same prompt the following week
- Founder 2: positioning page live Wednesday → topic citation rate 7 → 15, cited by Perplexity and Gemini
- Founder 3: 4 editorial pitches sent → 2 replies → 1 new backlink live, Off-Page score 12 → 34
Score movement tied to a specific task is the part a generic SEO dashboard doesn't give you. Ahrefs and Semrush tell you what happened to your rankings. They don't tell you whether an AI engine would recommend you over a competitor, or what to fix if it wouldn't.
