A 20-minute weekly routine
A simple weekly routine for GetIntel, from checking what moved to planning and working the week's tasks, in about 20 minutes.
Most of the value in GetIntel comes from a steady weekly habit. This routine takes about 20 minutes. Monday works well, after the weekly brand perception and technical checks have run.
1. What moved? (5 minutes)
Section titled “1. What moved? (5 minutes)”- Home: set the period to 7 days. Note any topic that changed a lot, and any page in Losing citations.
- Topics: sort by Change. For the biggest drop, open the topic and read a few of its latest answers.
2. Anything broken? (3 minutes)
Section titled “2. Anything broken? (3 minutes)”- Technical: check Since the last scan for anything new.
- AI crawlers: check no engine has dropped to zero.
3. Plan the week (5 minutes)
Section titled “3. Plan the week (5 minutes)”- Weekly plan: choose Refresh to swap unstarted tasks for the current top ones.
- Add anything urgent from step 1, such as the task that addresses a big drop.
4. Ship one thing (7 minutes)
Section titled “4. Ship one thing (7 minutes)”Start the smallest high-value task on the plan, or hand an On-Page task to your coding agent. Shipping one fix every week compounds.
