Security and data
What data GetIntel collects and stores, how connected accounts and keys are protected, what agents and integrations can access, and how to delete your data.
What GetIntel collects
Section titled “What GetIntel collects”- Your account and brand profile: your email, name, product description, audience and geography.
- AI answers: the answers engines give to your tracked buyer questions, with the sources they cite. These are public answers to generic questions, not anything from your customers.
- Data you connect: AI crawler counts from Cloudflare, rankings from Search Console, and AI visitor counts where connected.
- Billing: handled by Stripe. GetIntel doesn’t store your card details.
GetIntel doesn’t need access to your website, code or customer data to work. It asks AI engines questions and reads public pages.
Connected accounts are read-only
Section titled “Connected accounts are read-only”| Connection | Access |
|---|---|
| Google Search Console | Read-only Google permission |
| Cloudflare | A token you create with read-only analytics and zone permissions |
| Looker Studio | A read-only key: reports can never change anything in GetIntel |
| MCP tokens | Read-only unless you tick action access; action tools can only change your task list and re-run the technical scan |
How credentials are stored
Section titled “How credentials are stored”Search Console, Cloudflare and other third-party credentials you connect are stored encrypted. MCP tokens and Looker Studio keys are shown once when created and can be revoked at any time; revoking stops access immediately.
Who can see your data
Section titled “Who can see your data”- Your team: people you invite to your account see every brand on it. See Team members.
- Agents: an MCP token only sees the one brand it was created for.
- Nobody else: your brands, answers and scores aren’t shared with other customers.
Deleting your data
Section titled “Deleting your data”Settings → Delete account permanently deletes your account. Type DELETE to confirm. See Cancelling and your data.
