Technical

Whether ChatGPT, Google AI, Perplexity, Claude and Copilot can reach, read and use your key pages, rescanned every week.

Technical checks whether AI engines can reach, read and use your key pages. It rescans every week, on Mondays, and is available on every plan.

The Technical overview: the last scan, AI readiness and its history, and a score for each AI engine

A score from 0 to 100 for each of ChatGPT, Google AI, Perplexity, Claude and Copilot, and an overall AI readiness score that averages the five. Each engine’s score is mostly the share of your key pages it can use (80%), plus how discoverable and fresh your site is (15%) and page health (5%).

LayerWhat it checks
Reach (whole site)robots.txt for each bot, a live request as each bot, HTTPS, server reliability and speed.
Index & Read (key pages)Status codes and soft 404s, redirects, noindex, snippets, canonicals, content that needs JavaScript, mobile viewport, and indexing in Search Console and Bing.
Discover & FreshSitemap coverage, honest lastmod dates, internal links, freshness, and IndexNow.
Page healthUnique titles, broken internal links, near-duplicate pages, and Core Web Vitals.

Not every check applies to every engine. For example, JavaScript-dependent content only matters to engines that do not run JavaScript: ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude.

  • Overview: the readiness score and its history, a score per engine, every check for every engine, and what was fixed or is new since the last scan.
  • Pages: each key page with a pass or fail per engine and its issues. Click a page to compare what a browser sees with the raw HTML a bot gets.
  • Bot access: for each bot that decides whether AI cites you, robots.txt, the result of a live request and its speed. GetIntel requests your site as each bot, so firewall and Cloudflare blocks show up. Training bots are listed separately: blocking them does not stop AI from citing you.
  • Core Web Vitals: LCP, INP and CLS from real-user data over the last 28 days.

After fixing something, choose Re-check now instead of waiting for Monday. You can re-check once an hour. Fixes to make appear under Actions → Technical.
